Our community joined together yesterday to put up a beautiful Sukkah at our Women's Jewish Group Home. So many people were involved in making this wonderful afternoon possible! Thank you to: CSS for loaning a sukkah to us, Dan Kester for bringing it over and supervising the building, Logan Woodard and UB Hillel for putting it up, Rabbi Sarah from UB Hillel for blessing our endeavor, YBY participants for making decorations and helping put up the Sukkah, Samantha Sugarman and her accompanist, Frank, for providing music throughout the afternoon, the home's staff for always being so helpful and supportive, all of the friends and family members that came to help out, and, the wonderful residents who helped make decorations and welcomed so many people into their beautiful home!
Thank you to the TBZ Sisterhood for sponsoring and helping to decorate our downtown TBZ Sukkahs with our Tuesday religious school. May we all have a meaningful and blessed Sukkot!
Congregation Shir Shalom built a Sukkah at the Women’s Jewish Group Home with help from Hillel students (“supervised” by Dan Kester). Organized by Cindi Mikulik, music by Samantha Sugarman. A very nice afternoon! The last two photos show the Sukkah going up at CSS with help from congregants!
